CBD (Cannabidiol) oil is extracted from cannabis plants, most typically industrial hemp. The method of extraction plays a big role in the quality and consistency of the final product. The three most common extraction methods are:

• CO2 Extraction – no heat, safest, most expensive, most consistent, highest yielding, least waste, process removes bacteria, mold and impurities. Purest form of CBD oil

• Decarboxylation or “heating” the flower or stalk to a specific temperature for a specific to activate the chemical components. Cheap and inexpensive but can be inconsistent in yield and strength

• Liquid Solvent  Extraction – flower is soaked in solvents then heated to concentrate to an oil. The cheapest, lowest quality process
